Shamil Idriss is the husband of the famous American woman notable for being an award-winning writer "Cynthia Miller-Idriss".
Shamil's wife Cynthia is also a professor of Education and Sociology in the School of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences.
The couple married on 26 October 2002 at Woodend, the headquarters of the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase.
Cynthia has received two master's degrees from the University of Michigan in public policy and sociology. She graduated from Cornell.
She also looks after the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab in the Center for University Excellence at the American University.
Cynthia has been shown up on famous TV stations such as MSNBC, CNN, etc.
Cynthia's parents are Dr. Marilyn Miller and the Rev. Dr. Gary Miller that lives in Easton.
As for their children, the beautiful couple is blessed with two lovely daughters. Shamil lives in Washington, DC with his wife and children.
