DJ Doowap biography
DJ Doowap was born in Swaziland to a British father and a Swazi mother, and she spent most of her childhood in Johannesburg. She has a younger sister and celebrates her birthday every October 12th, and she will be turning 31 this year.
At the age of 15, she moved to Canada to train in sports, and she then began her athletics career. While she was there, she represented her country well and won several medals. She took part in the International Grand Prix, but her dream was to be in the Olympics. She then moved to the United Kingdom for four years, where she trained further before returning to her homeland in 2012.

While in the UK, the South African Deejay put her athletics career on hold to study Sound Engineering in London, and upon returning to South Africa, she took another Sound Engineering course at The Academy of Sound Engineering in Johannesburg. She later took deejaying classes via DJ4LIFE.
Career
The gorgeous Jock spent most of her time in underground clubs and studios while she was in London, which triggered her interest in the music industry. She also used to hang out in the night clubs her parents owned in Johannesburg, and she would meet famous artists like Boom Shaka, Lebo Mathosa, and Janet Jackson, who greatly impacted her musical approach.
